You may have spent months building lessons, scenarios and shared spaces in ENGAGE. Moving them raises a practical question: how much of that work can you carry forward?
Start with the experience you want learners to keep having. The environment matters, alongside the activities, instructions and teaching decisions that make it useful. Hyperspace offers managed ENGAGE conversion with quality assurance, helping your team move its work into a new home and adapt or rebuild the parts that need it.
Start with one complete learning activity
Choose a lesson or scenario that represents how you actually teach. Include an interaction your program depends on, such as learners working together on an object or making a choice that changes what happens next.
Walk through it from arrival to completion. What should participants understand? What do they do? When does the facilitator step in? A short recording and an explanation from the person who teaches it can help capture details that files alone cannot explain.
Keep the materials that make it work
Gather the experience files and available original models, images, audio, video and worksheets. Include instructions and any prompts used by virtual characters. Keep related materials together so it is clear which lesson uses them.
Check ownership and reuse permissions, especially for third-party models and other licensed content. Some assets may need replacing. Preserve available source material before retiring applications or devices, and check the full set of dependencies with your migration team.
Preserve the purpose of each interaction
A useful migration review asks what each interaction contributes to the lesson. If participants manipulate a shared object, check that others can see the change. If completing a task reveals the next instruction, make that sequence part of the review.
Some behaviors will need adapting to the new platform. Agree which details must remain and where an alternative approach is acceptable. A worksheet might work better as a readable document than as an image on a virtual desk. The important question is whether learners can use it to complete the activity.
Rehearse the lesson in its new home
Run the whole activity with its facilitator and representative learners. Check joining instructions, controls, readable text and the ability to guide the group. Test the devices your participants will actually use.
Hyperspace supports sharing experiences through a web link, embedding them in a webpage and delivering them through an LMS using SCORM. Choose the route that fits your program, then test access and any required completion reporting. Make a separate plan for historical learner records and recordings.
Use the first experience to plan the rest
A representative conversion helps establish what can carry forward, what needs work and who needs to review it. Prioritize the experiences needed for your next delivery, then agree the wider scope, support and responsibilities.
You do not need every technical answer before starting. Bring one ENGAGE experience and show us what learners do there. We can work through the materials, migration options and checks with you.
