Collaborating on ideas visually can be a powerful tool. Supporting all devices, mobile, tablet, laptop and VR/AR is important.
In this guide you will discover how to add touch-friendly collaborative whiteboard to your 3D space.
Here is an example of two participants' views side by side. As one draws other participants will see their contribution. A cursor will appear showing what the remote participant is drawing or where on the canvas they are interacting.
Note: usernames are not supported, each person’s cursor will have the name Anonymous. Please contact us to discuss deeper integration options.
Setup your Whiteboard on Aww Website
Visit https://awwapp.com
Sign Up for free
Choose a board
Save your board
- Click Invite
- Click More sharing options
- Choose Copy IFrame code
iFrame code will be copied to your clipboard
It will look something like this

Add the Whiteboard to your 3D space
In the 3D space on the top toolbar click the Pencil+ menu
Choose Add mediaboard
- Select Embed HTML
- Paste the iFrame code from Awwapp
- Click Create
- Stop editing
- Click the whiteboard
Anyone joining the space will see the same whiteboard allowing you to collaborate on ideas
Replace default mediaboard image
Consider replacing the image on the mediaboard
- Click the Pencil+ icon in the top right of the toolbar
- Choose Start editing
Click the settings icon on the mediaboard
- Paste the following in the diffuseMap field https://cache.learnbrite.com/_assets_/img/awwthumbnail.png
- Scroll down and click Save item
