As Microsoft Stream videos are restricted to your intranet you may only be able to view the video in the space if you are signed in. Typically if using Azure Single Sign-On or accessing your metaverse from within your intranet the participant will already be authenticated and this won’t be an issue.
Once signed in the video will be playable.
Note: Microsoft Stream does not support Hyperspace’s synchronized playback for multiple participants.
Videos for public (unauthenticated) access
By default Microsoft Stream is designed for playback of videos to invited participants or your intranet domain.
However sometimes you would like to have videos on display for unauthenticated users.
We recommend uploading videos to the included Hyperspace storage in this case.
However you can still use Microsoft Stream videos as follows.
- Click the Share button
- Choose Copy link
Click on Anyone with the link can edit
- Share the link with Anyone
- Expand More settings > Can edit
- Choose Can view
- Click the Apply button
