Bizzabo powers in-person, virtual, & hybrid experiences with the Event Experience OS, an open platform for Event Experience Leaders.
Using MootUp with Bizzabo takes the event experience into a whole new dimension, giving participants the choice to be virtually present and highly engaged in a gamified chat, audio and video 3D world. Metaverse Portals can be added to any Bizzabo session, for live broadcasts, presentation sessions, networking and expos.
When attendees enter any Metaverse Portal, they will be permitted to move to any part of your virtual event world whenever they please by using the world Locations menu.
Known Limitations: Bizzabo does not support providing a user’s identity to embedded content. Therefore, users must supply their names (and optionally their email addresses if you wish to track that) when entering the Metaverse Portal.
Hold a Bizzabo Session in your Virtual Event World
MootUp 3D Dashboard
First, copy the URL for your 3D event world.
- On your MootUp Dashboard, click the Worlds menu. Then, click the three-dot menu icon () on your event world’s tile and a pop-up menu will appear.
- From that menu, select Export.
- An Export this World dialog box will appear. Click the down arrow () to expand the URL export panel.
- Click the clipboard icon to copy the World’s URL.
Hold a Bizzabo Session in your Virtual Event World
Embed the Metaverse Portal
Bizzabo supports a single URL for a session which will appear in the sessions page and launch in a new tab when clicking Join Broadcast button.
- Create a new Session
- On the Details tab
- Enter the Session Title
- Choose Start Date & Time
- Choose End Date & Time
- Click the Save button
- Click the Virtual tab
- Set Enabled virtual session to Enabled
- Choose the More Solutions option
- Choose Player as Other
- Paste the Metaverse URL into the Attendee casting link
- Click the Save button
Branding (Optional)
- Select File Type Image for the Background Banner
- Upload your banner image
- For Banner/Video thumbnail we use an animated GIF
- Click the Save button
User Experience
When clicking on the Session the user will see a button to Join Broadcast
A popup will be displayed asking to Continue
Clicking Continue will open a new browser tab with the Metaverse experience. Here they can enter their name (and optionally email address).
New users will be given the opportunity to choose an avatar
After clicking the Continue button the user will be redirected to your Metaverse.
