How to add the dial-in details mediaboard
Actions available during dial-in by phone
The platform includes the ability for participants to dial-in by phone. This is especially useful if the participant has audio configuration issues on their device or browser.
How to add the dial-in details mediaboard
As an editor click the Pencil+ icon then choose Add mediaboard
- Choose the Share screen option
- Click the Dial-in details button
The mediaboard will be added in front of you, place it where you want.
How to dial-in by phone
- Make sure that a conference call in the space is in progress
- Find dial-in by phone mediaboard in a space
- Click the mediaboard
- Copy one of the phone numbers
- Paste the number into phone app used for making calls
- Call the number
- Wait for voice message about meeting access code to finish
- Type access code from the mediaboard and follow it by a hash sign #
Please note that a conference call can be joined muted by following the access code by an asterisk * instead of a hash sign #.
Actions available during dial-in by phone
To mute the microphone press an asterisk * on your phone's keyboard.
This will be followed by a voice message describing further available actions:
- Press 6 to unmute the microphone
- Press 1 to return to the conference call
- Press 0 to end the call
Known issues
Currently the phone number for Ireland (+35-376-888-9066) does not start a phone call.
